We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with development, product, and design teams to create and execute test plans, identify bugs, and guarantee a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both web and mobile applications
Conduct Testing: Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing on web, iOS, and Android platforms
Bug Management: Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work with developers to ensure issues are resolved promptly
Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure all acceptance criteria are met
Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, including defining and implementing best practices for software quality assurance
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or a similar role
Strong focus on testing both web and mobile applications
US citizens or individuals with existing work visas
- Technical Skills:
Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools
Experience with a bug tracking tool like Jira, Asana, or similar
Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
Solid understanding of different operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Coding Skills: Experience with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
CI/CD: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
API Testing: Knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Payments or accounting SaaS experience
US citizens or individuals with existing work visas only
